Kenneth Cobonpue is a Filipino national, a native of Cebu, Philippines.

He got his degree in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, New York.

Apprenticed for a leather and wood workshop near Florence, Italy, while completing his studies.

Got his Furniture Marketing and Production exposure at Export Akademie Baden-Württemberg in Reutlingen, Germany (under a private and state scholarship program).  Subsequently worked in Bielefeld and Munich.

Return to Cebu on 1996 to manage his mother’s furniture business (founded 1972).  His mother Betty  Cobonpue is a designer known for creating new techniques in using rattan.  Later he slowly adopt his own style and can be seen from his collections.

Kenneth is more than his family’s pride.  To Pinoy Espesyal, this man is trully special as he is a national treasure.  Although his works is already known to the architecture and Interior design community, who would have thought that Kenneth’s artistry and global standard are featured and taught at Bread of Life Christian Ministry … having a place in its program for love for nation called the “Brown Raise.”  This man uplift in his own way the image of Phippines in the global village.
